Add on DAB Receiver - Alpine EZi-DAB

The Alpine EZi-DAB connects to your existing car stereo, providing outstanding digital radio reception as well as the ability to connect and control iPod, iPhone, iPad or compatible USB devices. It can easily be fitted to any existing car stereo, and is designed to keep in-car clutter to a minimum. It contains a small but stylish controller with display, which can be installed onto your vehicle dash, a hide-away box and a discreet antenna. EZi-DAB works with DAB / DAB+ and DMBR standards. The EZi-DAB kit contains a Controller unit, an Interface box, Cable sets and mounting cradle.
To ensure seamless integration with different interior vehicle designs, the EZi-DAB features a choice of five illumination colours - red, amber, green, blue and white - while a small windscreen film antenna allows digital radio reception without the need to drill holes in the vehicle.

Note 1: There are three possible methods of installing the EZi-DAB through your Head Unit:
Auxiliary input Select the AUX IN source on your Head Unit if EZi-DAB has been wired in as an auxiliary source. Your stereo must support AUX capability.
FM direct inject This method effectively takes over your FM source and replaces it with output from EZi-DAB when you switch EZi-DAB on. Select the FM radio source on your Head Unit and tune to a particular frequency (default 87.6 MHz). Depending on your installation this method may also retain access to your normal FM stations to allow for traffic announcements and data services used by some navigation systems.
FM broadcast This method broadcasts the output from EZi-DAB over FM to your car antenna. Select the FM radio source on your Head Unit and tune to a particular frequency (default 87.6 MHz).

When installing this aftermarket device into your vehicle you may require an aerial adaptor lead to enable connection of the vehicles existing aerial to this device. There are many different adapters FAKRA, ISO and DIN versions are just a few. Select this option from the drop down option and we will include the appropriate adaptor for your vehicle radio.
