Car Communications have a national network of installers covering the whole of the United Kingdom. Our engineers work to the highest standards and all comply with the industry's MPT1362 Code of Practice. They have a minimum of 10 years experience in the auto electrical industry which is of paramount importance bearing in mind the complex nature of the electronics and wiring that are an inherent part of today's vehicles. Our work is regularly audited by the Federation of Communications Services.
We only use the best quality components manufactured by market leaders like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola and THB BURY. We use a non-damage (dashmount) metal bracket as standard, we never use non genuine products that may result in low quality calls or loss of signal strength. Our carefully selected network of engineers will carry out both pre and post installation checks as well as provide a working demonstration to ensure your complete satisfaction. We are members of FCS – Federation of Communications services and members of the RQC SAS – Radio Communications Quality Council Silver Award Scheme. The SAS scheme ensures our service and products meet acceptable quality standards as regards to performance, safety and reliability. Hands Free Car Kit Range
Our range of hands-free vehicle systems is one of the most comprehensive, we offer car kits from all the leading handset manufacturers including Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola. We also offer truly universal car kits from THB Bury and Parrot offering future proof compatibility.
The car kits are fitted without causing any damage to the vehicle’s interior trim. The phone cradle can be removed when the vehicle is sold without any sign of it having been fitted with a mobile phone.

Phone Holder or Wireless?
 There are two types of fitted hands free communication. They are available with either a cradle (charging holder) or Bluetooth (wireless). There are also fixed carphones where the SIM card is held in the car kit itself - usually fitted to commercial trucks/cabs.
Phone Holder. The handset clips into the cradle, which is wired to connect to power and either an externally mounted, dedicated speaker or integrated with the vehicle’s audio system. The handset charges while in the cradle and, because it connects to an auxiliary antenna, provides an enhanced signal and improved reception.
Wireless Bluetooth Hands Free Systems.
With Bluetooth you can place and receive calls in comfort and safety without ever touching your mobile phone. The phone could be left in a trouser pocket, briefcase or handbag and it can still operate hands free. Bluetooth Car Kits also now offer facility to provide drivers with visual information and functions that they routinely use from their personal phone - they will show the phonebook, carrier signal strength, last calls received and call ID information when a call is received.
With Bluetooth You can also use a number of different phones. For example a driver may have two phones, a private number and a business number or several drivers, with their own phones use the same vehicle. Bluetooth is a standard for wireless connection and therefore offers future proof compatibility with many other devices. Bluetooth devices offers a future proof option, a change of phone does not necessarily mean having to change the hands free unit. Other options available include GPS Telematic, navigation and tracking. However, the wireless (Bluetooth) solution provides no in-built charging facility.

 The Nokia CK-7W is a two in one car kit, incorporating both Bluetooth and the conventional car kit with the in car cradle. This Nokia CK-7W car kit is compatible with a broad variety of mobile phones which means there is no need to install a new handsfree system each time a different phone is used. CA-55 6310 Upgrade
Hugely popular, the Nokia CARK-91 installed in many vehicles over the past few years, is compatible with only the Nokia 6210, 6310, 6310i & 7110. Nokia have since introduced many handsets and users of the CARK-91 were originally left with little or no alternative other then buying a costly new car kit. Nokia have recently introduced the CA-55 converter cable which now allows the CARK-91 to support the newer Nokia phones like the 6230.
