The Parrot MKi9000 Bluetooth Hands Free Car Kit combines the latest communication technologies with a full set of services dedicated to music. Once paired with your Bluetooth mobile phone, the Parrot MKi9000 enables you to establish in a few seconds any phone conversations in your vehicle without needing to handle the telephone, even leaving it in your pocket. Connection with your mobile is made in a completely transparent way. The user-independent voice recognition and voice synthesis is integrated in the Parrot MKi9000 car kit, which dramatically eases the way of using it in every situation. And all the connectors for any type of music are provided with the Parrot MKi9000 Hands-free Kit: iPod, iPhone, iTouch, USB keys, USB MP3 players, Bluetooth Stereo devices, CD players, MiniDisc...etc

Using the Car Kit

The Parrot MKi9000 Bluetooth Car Kit automatically synchronises the names and phone numbers in your mobile with its phonebook and updates its phonebook each time a new entry is detected. To access your phonebook and make a call, simply press the green button to start the user-independent voice recognition: the Parrot MKi9000 recognises your voice and the name you are saying without any prior teaching process. You can also directly access the phonebook and browse all the names thanks to the voice synthesis (Text To Speech). So simple! The Parrot MKi9000 Bluetooth Car Kit is delivered with an independent RF remote control. Positioned on the steering wheel or placed wherever is convenient, the remote control gives you the total control you need right at your fingertips.



Play your Music In the Car

The Parrot MKi9000 Bluetooth Car Kit is delivered with a music cable specifically designed to adapt to any sort of digital and analogue music players: iPod/ iPhone connector, a USB connector to plug any USB MP3 player and a Line-In input for analogue sources. The Parrot MKi9000 also connects to any Bluetooth Stereo (A2DP) source: MP3 player, musicphone, smartphones, PDAs… The remote control of the Parrot MKi9000 gives you access to the main functions: PLAY, PAUSE, NEXT SONG, PREVIOUS SONG, and VOLUME. All music files are played back on the car’s speakers (front and back) while the Parrot MKi9000 built-in digital amplifier transforms your car into a true concert hall!

Future Proofing

Parrot car kits can be upgraded using a flash update box by an engineer or using updates over Bluetooth by the user. This straight forward process updates the kit for compatibility with the latest hand sets covered by Parrot. The software of the Parrot MKi9000 is upgradeable for free at any time from the Parrot website. And to benefit a higher integration in the vehicle, the Parrot MKi9000 can be interfaced with an optional module which uses the existing steering wheel mounted commands to control your Parrot Bluetooth hands-free car kit. There is no additional visible part to install; it only uses the existing car’s steering wheel control buttons. You keep controlling the car radio from the steering wheel and if the steering wheel doesn’t have enough buttons, the Parrot uses a specific combination of buttons to compensate for the missing ones. At last, a fully invisible Bluetooth hands free solution!

Audio Integration & Vehicle Muting

The Parrot MKi9000 can be integrated into most vehicle radios so that the sound from the kit is passed through the vehicle speakers making it clearer and louder. It also provides automatic muting so that when a call is made or received the vehicle stereo will mute. We offer audio integration and auto muting as standard with this car kit *.

Non Damaging Plug and Play Installation

All our installations are non damaging and include the latest components made for your specific make, model and variant of vehicle. These ensure your vehicles aesthetic qualities and resale value is protected.

The remote control will be mounted to the dash using non permanent sticky pads at a location of your choice. An optional non-damage bracket is available for a more secure installation.
