"description": "Volvo V70 (2000-2005) Single/Double DIN Car Stereo Upgrade Fitting Kit with Steering Controls\nComplete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Single or Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain the use of the steering wheel controls and original amplifier in Volvo V70 (2000-2005) car models.\nThis Stereo Upgrade Fitting Kit Includes:\nVolvo to DIN antenna adapter (21-104)\nVolvo ISO radio adapter Steering control interface (39-VOL-02)\nPhono amplifier adapter cables (Part of 39-VOL-02)\n39-Series Universal patch lead (Part of 39-VOL-02)\nFascia adapter panel (50-961)\nPLEASE NOTE: An additional PDC retention interface (25-514-VOLVO) is required for cars that have original parking sensors.\nVolvo to DIN Antenna Adapter (21-104)\nThis cable adapts from the original grey Volvo antenna connector in the car to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connector, this is used when fitting an aftermarket stereo upgrade.\nVolvo ISO Radio Adapter Steering Control Interface (39-VOL-02)\nA Volvo to ISO radio adapter cable with built in steering wheel control interface is also supplied in the kit. The cable adapts from the green and grey Volvo connectors in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. A phono to 6 pin DIN adapter is also included to provide audio to the original amplifier in the car. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation. This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip and phone buttons.\nThe CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, reverse gear, handbrake and speed pulse output signals to the new stereo.\nThis interface is supplied with a universal patch lead. The patch lead links the steering control interface to the steering wheel control input on the back of the new stereo.\nThis interface comes with a universal patch lead which can be used with Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Sony or Zenec Head-units.\nSingle/Double DIN Fascia Adapter Panel (50-961)\nCar radio fascia adaptor panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket Single or Double DIN car radio upgrade. The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. This fascia come with its own mounting brackets and radio housing, no additional cage is needed. The fascia gives a flush mount finish. Use the supplied pocket if installing a single din radio.\nThe image below shows examples of pre and post facelift dashboards from a Volvo V70. Note the shape and styling differences of the trim around the radios.\nThis fitting kit is Suitable for fitting facelift Volvo V70 2000 to 2005 cars with HU-6XX and HU-8XX original radios\nThe model numbers of the radios are printed on the front of the radio in the bottom right corner. Model number begin with HU- then have a three digit number to identify the radio model. Numbers begin with either a 6 or an 8 and require different speaker wiring depending on which it is.\nThe below image shows the different connectors on the HU-8 and HU-6 radios.\nThe 8 pin DIN connectors are used for the CD changer.\n{ note_description_footer }",
