"description": "Volvo C30/C70/S40/V50 Single DIN Car Stereo Upgrade Fitting Kit (AMPLIFIED)\nComplete stereo upgrade kit to install a Single DIN aftermarket car stereo and retain the use of the steering wheel audio controls in Volvo C30/C70/S40 and V50 car models (WITH AMPLIFIED SOUND SYSTEMS)\nThis kit also retains phone button controls, warning chimes/parking sensor audio and provides outputs for Park Brake, Reverse Gear and Speed Pulse.\nPLEASE NOTE: ONLY SUITABLE FOR MODELS WITH AMPLIFIED SOUND SYSTEMS, FOR NON-AMPLIFIED SYSTEMS PLEASE USE FK-550\nThis kit is the equivalent of Connects2 part: CTKVL05\nThis kit will power all the speakers apart from the centre channel speakers (usually found on Dynaudio Sound Systems)\nKit Features\nAllows for the installation of a single DIN aftermarket stereo\nRetains steering wheel control functionality\nRetains phone button functionality\nRetains amplified system\nRetains warning chimes/parking sensor audio (via integrated speaker)\nProvides outputs for speed pulse, park brake and reverse gear\nKit includes universal patch lead and antenna adapter\nIncludes mounting brackets and fitting accessories\nDoes not retain original display showing any car settings, temperature and fan speed on climate system.\nFASCIA MODIFICATION REQUIRED\nThe original fascia panel will need to be cut (Please see picture below) We recommend this should be done by a professional car audio technician/ installer.\nOn amplified sound systems, you will need to unplug the original OEM amplifier and connect to the supplied amplifier bypass cable. It will power all the speakers apart from centre channel speakers (usually found on Dynaudio Sound Systems)\nHigh Performance/ Premium Sound Systems Examples\nAll Volvo C30/C70/S40 and V50 car models from 2004-2012 had 3 different sound systems:\n1. Performance Sound (NON-AMPLIFIED)\nThis was fitted as the standard sound system for most of these Volvo Models. Although it had a couple of variations in its model years, it typically consisted of a standard 6 or 8 speaker set up system\n2. High Performance Sound (Amplified)\nThis was fitted both as standard on Higher Spec Volvo models and as an optional upgrade. An easy way to tell if your vehicle is fitted with this system is when the radio powers up it will show on the radio display as 'HIGH PERFORMANCE SOUND'\n3. Premium Sound (Amplified) Either DYNAUDIO or DOLBY PRO LOGIC II\nThis was fitted as an optional upgrade. An easy way to tell if your vehicle is fitted with this system is when the radio powers up it will show on the radio display as PREMIUM SOUND' This sound system is easier to identify as their will usually be a DYNAUDIO badge on some of the sound equipment.
