This is to replace original Composition or Discover radios.\nThis Head Unit Fitting Kit Includes:\nDouble Fakra to DIN aerial adapter (Phantom Power) with Bullet connector (21-139K)\nRadio replacement steering wheel adapter interface (49-VW-05)\nUniversal SWC Patch Lead (49-025)\nDouble DIN flush fit fascia adapter with side fixing brackets (50-699)\nDouble Fakra to DIN Aerial Adapter (Phantom Power) with Bullet Connector (21-139K)\nDouble Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12v phantom power from a male bullet connection. This antenna adapter cable adapts from the original Double Fakra connector in the vehicle to a standard aftermarket radio DIN antenna connection for the fitting of a stereo upgrade.\nRadio Replacement Steering Wheel Adapter Interface (49-VW-05)\nThe CANbus interface and radio adapter cable is plug and play, it is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source, mute and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio. The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs signals to the new stereo.\nUniversal SWC Patch Lead (49-025)\nUniversal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 49 series steering wheel control interfaces. Use for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units.\n{ note_49_000_patch }\nDouble DIN Flush Fit Fascia (50-699)\nCar radio fascia adaptor panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket Double DIN car radio upgrade. The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.\nThis fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation.\nCompatibility\nThis fitting kit is compatible with Volkswagen original head units fitted with the newer quadlock and a double Fakra connection, Please see pictures below.\nVW Composition Media (also fits Composition Audio and Composition Colour)\nVW Discover Media\nPLEASE NOTE:\nThis is for an updated 2015 onwards Quadlock connector used on select VW vehicles. This can be identified by the 2 larger pins in the corner of the connector\nSome vehicles have original DAB. This is not retained with this kit and will require 21-037 Fakra to SMB adapter.\nThis kit also does not retain original reverse cameras or USB and AUX ports.
