This fitting kit allows you to replace the original factory fitted head unit in the vehicle with a new aftermarket Double DIN version, retaining the original dashboard appearance and the steering wheel control functions.\nThis complete stereo upgrade fitting Kit includes:\nFakra to DIN aerial adapter (Phantom Power) with Bullet connector (21-123K)\nSeat steering wheel control interface and radio adapter cable (49-VW-01)\nUniversal SWC Patch Lead (49-025)\nSeat Ibiza Double DIN flush fit fascia adapter MATT BLACK (50-342/PRO)\nFakra to DIN aerial adapter (Phantom Power) with Bullet connector (21-123K)\nThis cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.\nThe phantom power feed terminates in a male bullet connector to make the phantom power lead easier to connect to ISO cables and steering wheel control interfaces with a female bullet connection for the electric antenna turn on. We also have this part available with a junior timer receptacle terminal to make it easy to connect into the electric antenna turn on position of a standard ISO connector, the 21-123.\nSeat steering wheel control interface and radio adapter cable (49-VW-01)\nSteering wheel control interface and adapter cable for Seat cars to fit an aftermarket radio upgrade. The cable adapts from the Quad-lock connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation.\nThis interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source, mute and phone buttons. Note; the operation of these buttons can be dependent on the vehicle specification and radio compatibility, see the instructions for more information.\nThe CANbus interface will also provide a key present ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs. A key present ignition means the stereo will turn on with the first click of the key and stay on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel.\nUniversal SWC Patch Lead (49-025)\nUniversal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 49 series steering wheel control interfaces. The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. The fascia is a matt black finish and is a flush mount style so it replaces the radio trim supplied with the aftermarket radio. This gives a flush professional finish to the installation.
