"description": "Volkswagen Touareg Double DIN car stereo fitting kit (Steering Controls)\nComplete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain use of the factory steering wheel audio controls in Volkswagen Touareg I (2003-2009) vehicles with factory Delta/ RNS2 radios.\nFitting Kits Includes:\nFakra to DIN antenna adapter cable (21-123)\nVW Touareg steering control interface (39-VW-03)\n39-Series universal patch lead (Part of 39-VW-03)\nVW Touareg Double DIN fitting kit (50-716)\n103mm double din fitting cage kit (51-012)\nFakra to DIN aerial adapter cable with 12v phantom power (21-123)\nThis cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.\nVW Touareg steering control interface (39-VW-03)\nCANbus steering wheel audio control interface for VW Touareg (2002-2010) cars with quadlock connectors behind the radio.\nThis interface uses quadlock connections behind the original radio to allow the use of the original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. It also provides CANbus outputs as well as Ignition, speed pulse, reverse, handbrake and illumination signals to the new stereo. This interface will also include PHONE functions on some compatible radio's. Seek and Source functions will only work when the car is in AUDIO menu\nPLEASE NOTE: This interface comes with a universal patch lead which can be used with Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Sony or Zenec Head-units.\nSeek and Source functions will only work when the car is in AUDIO menu\nVW Touareg Double DIN fitting kit (50-716)\nReplacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version. This fascia is designed to replace the wider rectangular OEM radios.\nDouble DIN metal cage kit (51-012)\nThis kit is designed to replace the metal cage kit that is usually supplied with your new aftermarket double din head-unit or navigation system.
