"description": "BMW 3 Series E90 E91 E92 E93 Double DIN Car Stereo Upgrade Fitting Kit (STEERING CONTROLS)\nComplete fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain use of the original steering wheel controls in select BMW 3 series (E90/E91/E92/E93) car models.\nFitting Kit Includes:\nAntenna adapter cable (21-106)\nSteering wheel control interface (49-BMW-01)\nUniversal patch lead for steering control interface (49-025)\nBMW 3-Series Double DIN fascia adapter (50-746)\nFakra to DIN antenna adapter cable (21-106)\nThis cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.\nSteering wheel control interface (49-BMW-01)\nSteering wheel control interface and adapter cable for various BMW cars to fit an aftermarket radio upgrade. The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard ISO aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation. This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons. The CANbus interface will also provide CANbus key present ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs. A key present ignition means the stereo will turn on with the first click of the key and stay on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel.\nSome BMW cars go into Eco mode and the +12V supply to the radio drops causing the memory of the new radio to be lost, these cars will need a power supply directly from the battery to be supplied.\nA universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering control interface to the steering control input of Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units.\n{ note_49_000_patch }\nBMW 3-Series Double DIN fascia adapter (50-746)\nReplacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version. This kit uses side fixing brackets for a flush fit, so no radio cage is needed.\nCOLOUR: MATT BLACK\nPLEASE NOTE: Some cars with start/stop technology may require an additional voltage stabiliser to prevent the radio turning off when the engine restarts.\nOnly for models without OEM navigation and with automatic climate control / air conditioning.
