As well as retaining use of the factory steering wheel audio controls, this fitting kit is supplied with a fascia adapter panel suitable for a Double DIN aftermarket radio. The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape and style of the original radio. A universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering control interface to the steering control input of your aftermarket Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer or Sony car stereo head unit.\nThis fitting Kit includes:\nFakra to DIN aerial adapter, 12v phantom power (Part of 29-UC-050-VAUX)\nSteering wheel control interface (29-UC-050-VAUX)\nUNICAN patch lead set (29-UCCAB-SET)\nDouble DIN fascia with fitting cage (50-841/5)\nPLEASE NOTE: To remove the original radio, you will require radio release keys, part number 52-012\nFakra to DIN aerial adapter cable with 12v phantom power (Part of 29-UC-050-VAUX)\nThis cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.\nSteering wheel control interface (29-UC-050-VAUX)\nCANbus interface to maintain the steering wheel controls. This interface will also adapt from the quad-lock connector in the car to standard after market ISO connectors. Provides a CANbus, powered antenna, ignition output, speed pulse, reverse gear signal and hand brake signal. This interface will also allow you to use the car's original steering control buttons to access the original display screen to update the time and date settings.\nUNICAN patch lead set (29-UCCAB-SET)\nPatch cable set to connect a UNICAN interface between an after market head unit and the steering wheel controls. Can be used with Alpine, Kenwood, JVC (single wire), Pioneer, Sony and Chinese/Resistive learning head units with either two wires or a 3.5mm jack.\nDouble DIN fascia with fitting cage (50-841/5)\nThis fascia adapter panel is to fit a double din aftermarket radio. The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. The fascia is a silver finish and is a flush mount style so it replaces the radio trim supplied with the aftermarket radio. This gives a flush professional finish to the installation. The fascia is supplied with a double din fitting cage. Standard cages supplied with aftermarket radios are too big for the fascia trim.
