"description": "BMW 1-series Facelift Double DIN Car Stereo Fitting Kit with Steering controls/PDC MANUAL AIR CON\nComplete fitting kit to install an aftermarket Double DIN car stereo head unit and retain the original steering wheel controls and parking sensor tones in a BMW 1-Series 2007 (facelift model) with original Manual climate controls. This kit is designed for 2007 onwards facelift models, earlier pre facelift models do not have space for a Double DIN unit.\nThis head unit fitting kit includes:\nAntenna adapter cable (21-106)\nParking sensor retention interface (25-514)\nSteering wheel control interface (49-BMW-01)\nUniversal patch lead for steering control interface (49-025)\nBMW 1-Series (Manual air con) Double DIN fascia (50-883)\nFOR UNBRANDED/ CHINESE HEAD UNITS YOU WILL REQUIRE A DEDICATED 49-000 PATCH LEAD\nFakra to DIN antenna adapter cable (21-106)\nThis cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.\nSteering wheel control interface (49-BMW-01)\nSteering wheel control interface and adapter cable for various BMW and Mini cars to fit an aftermarket radio upgrade. The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard ISO aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation. This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons. The CANbus interface will also provide CANbus key present ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs. A key present ignition means the stereo will turn on with the first click of the key and stay on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel.\nSome BMW cars go into Eco mode and the +12V supply to the radio drops causing the memory of the new radio to be lost, these cars will need a power supply directly from the battery to be supplied.\nA universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering control interface to the steering control input of Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units.\nParking sensor retention interface (25-514)\nCANbus interface to retain the original parking distance control (PDC) tones and other vehicle warning chimes that are lost when replacing the radio in various BMW, Citroen, Peugeot, Volvo and Ford cars. The original parking tones and warning chimes in many cars are produced by the original radio and when an aftermarket radio is fitted these tones are lost. This CANbus interface reads the data in the car and reproduces the parking tones and warning chimes through an additional speaker. The interface has a universal adapter cable, this needs to be hardwired to the power, ground and CANbus wires in the car. Fitting instructions are included.\nBMW 1-Series (Manual air con) Double DIN fascia (50-883)\nThis fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the cars dashboard by matching the shape, style, size and colour of the original OEM factory fitted radio. A complete new metal cage kit is supplied which will replace the metal cage which is normally supplied with the new head-unit. The kit includes a switch relocating panel for cars with switch panel underneath the climate controls. There is a blank plate for cars that do not have the switch panel.\nPLEASE NOTE: Only suitable for car models with manual climate controls and without original navigation and iDrive system\nSome cars with start/stop technology may require an additional voltage stabiliser to prevent the radio turning off when the engine restarts.\nThis kit is for 2007 onward facelift models, earlier pre facelift models do not have space for a double din unit.\n{ note_description_footer }",
