It allows you to seamlessly fit a modern Double DIN head unit while preserving the factory dashboard aesthetic and retaining controls you already use.\nIncluded in the kit are: a matt‑black fascia adapter that ensures a flush OEM‑style finish, a steering wheel control interface so your original steering buttons continue to work, a universal patch lead compatible with major aftermarket brands, and both aerial and DAB adapters to maintain radio reception without modifications. This ensures a professional, plug‑and‑play installation for your van’s audio system.\nImportant Notes:\nOn some late vehicles, around 2018 and newer, you may need to manually wire in a separate ignition live feed as these vehicles may not naturally have this supply within the original radio plugs like older models had.\nSome vehicles with Stop‑Start feature will require an interface to be installed inline with the power ISO plug of the new stereo. The interface allows the unit to stay powered when the vehicle engine shuts down and restarts. If you are experiencing this with your new installation, you will need a 10‑603 adapter in addition to the fitting kit.\nThis kit is only compatible with vehicles originally equipped with the standard radio system; factory navigation head units require a separate navigation-specific kit.\nFakra Male to SMB Female DAB Adapter\nUse this adapter to adapt a fakra DAB connector in a car to a DAB SMB connector on an after market DAB radio.\nFakra to DIN Aerial Adapter Cable with 12V Phantom Power\nThis cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna.
