"description": "Audi OEM HIgh Res DVD Navigation System Plus RNS-E - New Updated Model\nThe DVD navigation system including MMI offers the highest degree of user-friendly convenience. The system features dynamic route guidance and, ifdesired, takes account of all current traffic reports in calculating a route. It provides a wide range of navigation functions and is even easier to use in combination with the optional speech dialogue system.\nImages showing RNS-E screen shots\nThe new Audi navigation system plus with MMI (Multi Media Interface) operating logic in the A3, TT and R8 offers improved screen resolution and unmatched route calculation speed. The radio-navigation system, version E (RNS-E), can be combined with the Audi music interface and reads up to 32 GB SD memory cards.\nThe most obvious improvement are the 800 x 480 pixel, high-resolution graphics displayed on the 6.5-inch screen. Route calculation is blazingly fast thanks to a latest-generation processor clocked at 600 MHz. In addition to the recommended lane, the split-screen display now also shows speed limits taken from the navigation data for freeways and highways. In topographic map view, the driver and front passenger can scroll vertically, horizontally and now also along the route as they wish.\nExternal storage media or MP3 players such as an iPod can be attached via the Audi music interface, which is available to customers as optional equipment. Another new benefit is that it charges the external devices.\nThe navigation system plus now features the intuitive operating logic of the media playback menu, which can also be found in the latest Audi MMI systems. Title information is now displayed, making it easier to search through the music collection.\nAn optional Bluetooth adapter for the Audi music interface enables wireless music playback from a mobile phone or MP3 player. There is no need to visit the dealership just to keep the Audi music interface up to date: Updates can be downloaded free of charge from www.audi.de/mp3 and transferred to the car via a USB stick.\nOn the back of the display, which can be folded away at the push of a button, are two slots for SD and SDHC cards with capacities of up to 32 GB. That is enough for up to 14,000 songs – 700 hours or one month of uninterrupted listening enjoyment.\nAlso new is the optical parking assistant. In the Audi R8, A3 and TT it can be combined with the rearview camera. In addition to acoustic warning signals, the distance to the front and to the rear is now displayed optically on the high-resolution display. When combined with the rearview camera, the graphics from the parking assistant are superimposed over the live image from the camera\nAudi OEM HIgh Res DVD Navigation System Plus RNS-E Features:\nIncludes the high-quality radio system of the MMI\nSeven-inch TFT colour display\nView of route directions and arrow display on the driver information display\nNavigation DVD\nHigh-quality map view (e.g. special destinations (POI) marked with symbols, height above sea level indicated)\nScrolling along the route\nIntelligent place-name input: recognition of a place name already entered, with autocomplete and option to select as a destination\nDestination input via map: the journey destination can be selected by means of the cursor directly on the map\nDisplay of height above sea level on the map\nDetailed display of traffic hold-ups (tailbacks, slow-moving traffic)\nDynamic route guidance via TMC (where available) is possible in the following countries: Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France (© Mediamobile), Great Britain (© RAC Trafficmaster), Italy, Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Czech Republic\nStoring of current traffic reports (TP memo)\nIn addition to entering your chosen destination, it is also possible to use special destinations, e.g. hotel, restaurants or railway stations, as well as so-called top special destinations, such as the nearest car park or the nearest petrol station\nDirectory entries can also be used as destinations for the navigation system\nSpecial destinations can be called (provided the telephone number is available)\nSpecial destinations can be stored in the MMI telephone book (provided the telephone number is available)\nConvenient telephone operation (if a telephone is installed)\nAvailable as an option: speech dialogue system for operation of the navigation system, telephone and radio\nNEW!
