"description": "Dension Gateway Enabler for BMW vehicles - gen2bme\nTo operate the Gateway 500S, Gateway 500S BT, or Gateway 500 product, certain options have to be enabled in the car audio system, which might not be set by default in all BMW vehicles. Enabling these protocols normally requires a car diagnostics tool (e.g. Autologic) and the expertise of a BMW specialized workshop.\nThe GEN tool provides these specific enabling/disabling diagnostics functions only through the ODB 2 interface, thus making it a small and affordable device to help the installation/removal of the Gateway product.\nFeatures:\nEasy to use enabler\nEnables Gateway 500S, Gateway 500S BT, or Gateway 500 functions without an expensive professional diagnostic tool\nWorks with the vast majority of MOST™ system BMW vehicles through the ODB 2 interface\nAutomatically starts and codes\nThe system settings remain untouched – might be modified if a diagnostic tool is used\nNo difficult setting or coding is required\nIncludes activation of phone functions – optional*\nDisable function is also useful when taking the car to a service station\nThe tool binds itself to the vehicle on first use – can not be used in another car after installation\nKMP3 text (track info) will only be activated if the vehicle software is up to date",
