"text": "I bought this product from Car Communications and had it installed by them at home. You can buy cheaper directly and install yourself - however I would recommend you DO NOT do this - the work is quite significant depending on the extent of the retrofit. I had 'base' iDrive system (no nav, no bluetooth streaming) and Car Comms had to strip out the whole system - controller, screen, head unit and all wiring to install the new versions of all these and the GPS box and antenna. This meant taking apart majority of the trim in the car, A-pillar and stuff in the boot. What took them less than a day would've taken me a week, and no doubt I would've made a mess of it. The price paid I think was good value, and has seriously upgraded my car to 'range topping' level for the age - providing full-screen Apple CarPlay, wireless streaming, navigation, voice control, a huge HD screen and unlocks lots of other features in the car. I thoroughly recommend the product, and car communications",
