"description": "Axion DAB+yourCAR Add-on Box - DAB212STD\nDAB+ Upgrade Module for Existing RDS Radio Systems\nDigital radio is simply better. An additional Aux-In jack allows you to connect an external audio source such as an MP3 player/iPod®.\nIngeniously simple, the DAB212STD is easy to install thanks to wireless connection to the car radio via FM transmitter. The DAB+ box can be fully remote controlled via a radio remote control. Station names and system information are displayed via RDS on the existing radio. The Auto-Scan function with AFC frequency change technology always automatically finds a free FM frequency.\nUpgrade your existing RDS car radio with DAB+ reception now!\nKey Features\nUpgrade your existing in-car FM-RDS radio to receive DAB+ digital radio\nDigital sound quality\nStation memories with quick selection\nAux-In connector for external sources\nDAB/DAB+ auto tuning\nRemote control\n4 buttons for 12 station pre-sets\nSound controlled by radio\nStation info on car radio display\nMenu settings\nPlug and play installation\nNo visible connection cables\nOptimized DAB active windshield antenna included\nSuitable for Cars and Commercial vehicles. 12/24v\nDAB for clear and noise-free reception\nIn contrast to analogue FM transmission DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) is a new method for digital transmission of radio signals via a network of terrestrial transmitters. It provides listeners with more choices and information delivered in clear sound quality without any noise. With DAB digital stations there are no frequencies to remember.\nWhat distinguishes DAB+ from DAB?\nDAB+ is a further development of the DAB standard, thus assumes all functions of DAB, but offers additional benefits. The technical difference is the type of audio coding, ie the two standards use different methods for the preparation before and after the transfer of data. While DAB uses MPEG-1 Layer-2, DAB MPEG-4 HE-AAC v2, the most efficient audio compression used worldwide.\nSpecifications\nMain Unit:\nWorldDMB Profile 1\ncompliant\nCapable of Decoding all DAB Broadcasting Modes\n1-4\nDAB RF Frequency Range\nBand III: 174 MHz ~ 240 MHz\nAerial Input Impedance\n50Ω\nFar Off Selectivity\n42dB (min)\nAdjacent Channel Selectivity\n30db (min)\nFM Transmit Bandwdith.\n87.6 MHz ~ 107.9 MHz.\nPower Consumption\n3.6W\nVoltage Supply\n11-16V DC\nOperating Temperature Range\n20° up to +70° C\nStorage Temperature Range:\n-40° up to +85° C\nDimensions\n112(L) x 102(B) x 23(H) mm\nWeight\n120,4 g\nRemote Control:\nFrequency\n2,479GHz\nModulation\nGFSK\nBattery\nCR2032\nDimensions\n113(L) x 45(B) x 12(H) mm\nWeight\n36,2 g\nScope of delivery:\nDAB yourCar Box\nRF-Remote control\nWindow antenna (ADA-401)",
