"description": "Alpine HDZ-65 Status Hi-Res 6.5” (16.5cm) Coaxial Speakers\nThe Alpine Status system is also extreme flexible: all components can be purchased and used in “stand-alone” configuration.\nSuperior Sound Performance\nAlpine Introduces the all-new Alpine Status sound system: using the same engineering and design concepts drawn from the third generation, Ultra High-Resolution AlpineF#1Status system, Alpine created “Alpine Status” to achieve High-Resolution Sound at a more approachable and accessible price point. The Alpine Status system is also extreme flexible: all components can be purchased and used in “stand-alone” configuration.\nFor the audiophile that’s looking to build an ideal sound system, Alpine Status offers a wide range of Hi-Res Audio enabled speakers. The HDZ-65 Coaxial 2-Way speakers with a high-resolution bandwidth of 55Hz – 40kHz includes 170mm door woofers with an integrated 40mm Slim-Fit tweeters.\nAll speaker cones are made from the same Carbon Composite material to create a unified timbre identity during playback. They get very close to the AlpineF#1Status speakers look and feel, using a very similar constructing and motor assembly, as well as the identical build-materials for highest sound quality.\nHi-Res Audio Made Accessible\nThe Alpine Status system features many technologies, components and materials of the AlpineF#1Status system to achieve ultra high-precision music reproduction - at an affordable price tag. It is designed to play music tracks at 192kHz / 24bit format, which are widely accessible in many online stores and streaming platforms. High-Res Audio playback of 192kHz / 24bit allows Alpine Status to create a heightened listening experience in the vehicle that emulates the feeling of an intimate recording studio session.\nCoaxial 2-Way Speaker System\nDrawing from AlpineF#1Status trickle-down technology and materials, these Hi-Res Audio certified speakers deliver highest audiophile sound quality up to 40kHz in your vehicle. The 2-way coaxial system consists of 170mm door woofers with integrated 40mm tweeters.\nCarbon Fibre Cones\nAll speakers in this set (as well as the HDZ-110 Alpine Status subwoofer) use backed carbon composite cones to achieve a fully unified timbre identity – resulting in excellent harmonics. Carbon is very lightweight and stiff, resulting in high dynamics and low distortion. Backed carbon composite technology is also used in race-car monocoques for its light weight and high crash resistance.\nAlpine Status Full System\nAlpine Status features many components that are optimised in both power and performance as a complete system to play at their intended high-resolution spec for excellent, audiophile sound quality. However, each component can be purchased independently for custom system building.\nDouble-Gathered Edge\nYet another trickle-down technology from the AlpineF#1Status speakers: the double-gathered edge allows maximum cone excursion with excellent cone control and stability. This reduces sound distortion caused by cone wobble at higher volume levels.\n40mm Tweeter\nThe integrated 40mm Hi-Res Audio tweeters sound simply amazing and play up to 40kHz. They include an integrated wave-guide, tuned-back chamber and a powerful neodymium magnet.\nGet High-End Car Audio Performance from Alpine Status\nWatch as Alpine Brooks goes into depth with the high-end Alpine Status line of products from Alpine and details the Digital Media Player, DSP Amplifier, and Speakers within the Status line.\nFeatures\nHi-Res Audio certified 2-Way coaxial speaker system\nAlpineF#1Status speaker trickle-down technology\nMaximum Peak Power: 300 Watts\nMaximum RMS Power: 100 Watts\nWoofer diameter: 170mm (177mm with attached grill)\nAluminium die-cast baskets\nBacked carbon fibre cones\nDouble-gathered edge\nIncluded speaker grills\nIntegrated Wave Guide on tweeters\nSpecifications\nImpedance 4Ω\nSensitivity 88dB SPL (2.83 V @ 1 m)\nFrequency Response: 55Hz – 40kHz\nMounting depth: woofer 67mm / mid-range 39mm\nCutout diameter: woofer 142mm / mid-range 79mm\nRecommended amplification: up to 100W RMS per channel\nFerrite magnet (woofer)\nNeodymium magnet (mid-range speaker and tweeter)",
