"description": "BMW 3 Series (E46) Double DIN Car Radio Stereo Fascia Adapter Panel (LHD)\nCar radio fascia adapter panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket double DIN car radio upgrade on a BMW 3-Series (E46). This fascia kit comes with the necessary fascia, side fixing brackets, heater box modification cutting guides, panels and a left hand drive only climate control module relocation panel.\nThis fascia relocates the factory climate control and switches for LHD vehicles with a five switch panel opening, reducing the modification and labour time in comparison to other BMW fascia alternatives.\nSuitable for Saloon (sedan), Touring, Convertible, Coupe and Compact (Hatchback) body styles of the BMW E46 3-Series.\nPLEASE NOTE: Although this fascia is Left Hand Drive (LHD) the radio surround, brackets and heater box modification panels will work on Right Hand Drive (RHD) 3-Series BMW models. Only the climate control relocation panel for models with the basic 'Business CD' original radio will not fit a RHD model. The original centre console panel can be modified to fit the climate control module but no parts are offered in this kit to do so. We recommend this is done by a skilled car audio technician!\nFor models with original navigation systems climate control module relocation panel that comes is not required.\nModification to the factory heater box is required to fit a unit with a full size double DIN chassis. We recommend this is done by a skilled car audio technician!\nModification to the heater box can be avoided by fitting a radio with a compact/ single DIN rear chassis at the top the radio, such as the SONY XAV-AX3250DB shown below:\nBelow is a picture of an aftermarket head unit upgrade using this fascia kit with the original RHD centre console panel modified to fit the climate control module where the upper storage tray was.\n{ note_description_footer }",
