Volkswagen Single DIN car stereo upgrade fitting kit (Without SWC) Single Fakra
Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Single DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit in various Volkswagen (2005 Onwards) car models. This kit is suitable for VW car models with a Single FAKRA antenna connection on the back of the original radio Includes a pre-wired CANbus interface to generate a key present ignition feed.
This stereo upgrade fitting kit includes:
- Fascia with removable pocket (50-172)
- Quad-lock to ISO cable with built in CANbus interface (20-156A-IGN)
- Fakra Antenna adapter (Part of 20-156A-IGN)
PLEASE NOTE: Not suitable for vehicles with steering wheel audio controls.
Single Fakra antenna adapter (Part of 20-156A-IGN)
Phantom powered Fakra to DIN antenna adapter, this is prewired into the quad-lock to ISO harness.
Quad-lock to ISO radio adapter harness, with CANbus ignition (20-156A-IGN)
This interface generates a key present ignition supply so no extra ignition feed needs to be provided. The key present ignition feature will continue to give an ignition supply until the key is removed from the ignition barrel.
Fascia with removable pocket (50-172)
Car radio fascia adaptor panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket single or double DIN car radio upgrade.
The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.
Compatibility
This fitting kit is compatible with Volkswagen vehicles fitting with OEM factory fitted RCD210 head units. These units were fitted in various VW car models and only have a single Fakra connection on the back. Please see pictures below.
