When an installation is booked the details provided relating to the vehicle are crucial to ensuring the right equipment is dispatched. Please ensure the details you provide are correct and that you are available at the time and date agreed for installation.

When Installing 3rd Party products, It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the product to be installed is working and not defective or missing parts or fitments. The Customer is also responsible for ensuring the correct product and vehicle information is provided to Car Communications Ltd prior to the installation date. The customer will still be liable for the Full installation charge once the Engineer has arrived on site, regardless of whether the installation takes place or not. (Please see below for cancellations and associated charges) 

In instances where the Product(s) requiring to be installed are not purchased from Car Communications Ltd but supplied by the customer, Car Communications Ltd shall not be liable for any incompatibilities with the vehicle, missing fitments or defective 3rd Party products. Whether this be before, during or after installation.  The customer will still be liable for the Full installation charge in any case. 

Installations will require some modification to the vehicle.  In the event of any order cancellations or refunds, after the installation has been carried out, we will not be liable for returning the vehicle to its original state.  A de-installation charge may be applicable in the event of any order cancellation or refund after the installation has been carried out.

If you are unavailable at the time or date specified or any of the details supplied are incorrect, please inform Car Communications by phone or email at least 24hrs in advance excluding weekends and bank holidays. Cancellations must be communicated during business hours Monday to Friday. Where the customer is unavailable at the agreed time and date or the wrong handset or vehicle has been specified Car Communications reserve the right to charge a £45 cancellation fee. If you cancel an installation less than 24hrs in advance of a confirmed fitting date then there will be a cancellation fee of £45. If the Product (car kit, audio equipment etc.) or accessory has already been dispatched there will usually be a further £7.00 to cover the cost of postage.

Shipping Charge. 

There will be a delivery charge added to the quote if we have to ship any parts. This is to cover the cost of a tracked delivery of the kit to either yourself or it can be shipped to our engineer in the event you are not available.

Other Charges

Additional charges may apply if the installation takes place within the Congestion Charging Zones, ULEZ Zones & Clean Air Zones; to cover the cost of our engineers entering these areas. As a guide, these are currently as follows but can change and these values are determined by the local authorities within the areas where charges have been written into Local Law.

• £15 Congestion charge (Mainly fall within the TFL jurisdiction)
• £12.50 ULEZ
• £8 Clean Air Zones (Bath, Birmingham, Bradford*, Bristol*, Portsmouth) [ * Will start 3rd qtr 2022]
