Porsche 911, Boxster, Cayman (12-16) Double DIN Car Stereo Upgrade Fitting Kit (PCM3.1/STANDARD)

Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain the use of the steering wheel audio controls in select Porsche 911, Boxster and Cayman (2012-2016) car models with PCM3.1 systems and standard Sound Package Plus audio.

As well as retaining the factory steering wheel audio controls, this kit contains a turn-on cable for the factory fitted ASK amplifier. Connect to back of the quadlock on select Porsche PCM3 systems to turn on the factory fitted ASK amplifier.

Fakra to DIN Antenna Adapter (21-106)

Male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.

ASK Amplifier Turn On for Porsche PCM3 Systems (23-160)

ASK Amplifier Turn on for selected Porsche car models with PCM3 systems with ASK amplifiers and quadlock connection. Connect to back of the quadlock on select Porsche PCM3 systems to turn on the factory fitted ASK amplifier.

Steering Wheel Control Interface (49-POR-04)

Car Audio Steering wheel interface allowing use of original buttons (including telephone button) with a new aftermarket head-unit. Use with Porsche cars with CAN bus and Quadlock connectors behind the radio.
The CANbus interface will generate an ignition power supply to the new radio. it will also give out an illumination signal, (orange) speed pulse signal (pink), reverse gear positive output (Purple), Handbrake negative (Green) and Mute out (Yellow/Black)

This interface is for vehicles with standard audio systems. Cars with BOSE amplifiers will require the amplifier to be bypassed, this is provided in fitting kit FK-981-CDR31-BOSE.

Double DIN Fascia Fitting Kit (50-981)

This fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. This fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation.

PLEASE NOTE: For Porsche models with BOSE audio please use FK-981-PCM31-BOSE

The difference of having PCM 3.1 or CDR 3.1 is the buttons in the units centre console.

If your system has CD/ AUX button and AM/FM buttons then you have a CDR 3.1/ CDR31

If your system has NAVI/ MAP buttons and a SD Slot then you have a PCM 3.1
