Complete stereo upgrade kit to install a Single or Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit in select Porsche Boxster, Cayman and 911 Coupe (2004-2009) car models without Bose audio.

This Stereo Upgrade Fitting Kit Includes:

  • Antenna adapter cable (21-106)
  • Car radio replacement adapter cable (20-187-IGN)
  • CANbus ignition interface (Part of 20-187-IGN)
  • Silver flush mount fascia fitting kit (50-959/1)

This fitting kit includes a silver car radio fascia adapter panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket single or double DIN car radio upgrade. The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. This fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation. Use the supplied pocket for a single DIN installation or remove the pocket for a double DIN installation.

A Porsche ISO to ISO radio replacement adapter harness is in the kit. The adapter has a built in CANbus ignition interface that gives a key present ignition supply to the new radio. It also gives out a speed pulse signal for use when installing a navigation radio. It will also give audio in cars that have speaker wires in the original ISO connector. There is an amplifier turn on wire on this harness, this is for cars that have a non Bose amplifier that receives a normal speaker level audio signal from the head unit.

This kit includes a male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Fakra antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.
