Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain the use of the steering wheel controls in select Mercedes vehicles with factory fitted NTG1 systems and Quad-lock Connection

Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable (21-106)

Male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.

Mercedes E-Class NTG1 steering wheel control interface (39-MB-A20NTG1)

CANbus steering wheel control interface for Mercedes E-Class cars with original Mercedes NTG1 head units.

This interface uses quadlock connections behind the original radio to allow the use of the original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. It also provides CANbus outputs as well as Ignition, speed pulse, reverse gear, handbrake and illumination signals to the new stereo.

Universal 39-Series patch lead (Part of 39-MB-A20NTG1)

The interface is supplied with a universal patch lead. This links the steering control interface to the steering wheel control input on the back of the new stereo. This can be used with Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Sony or Zenec Head-units.

Mercedes Double DIN car audio fascia adapter (50-710)

Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version. This kit uses the 113mm high cage supplied with after market double DIN radios to fit , if this is missing then our cage with part number 51-013 is suitable.

PLEASE NOTE: This fitting kit is not suitable for Cars with original Harman/Kardon amplified audio systems. These will require an additional interface to retain the audio with the original amplifier.
