Wireless Apple CarPlay Adapter Dongle for Wired CarPlay Systems

Carlinkit 2.0 Wireless Apple CarPlay Adapter is suitable for 98% existing wired CarPlay-enabled vehicles and wired CarPlay-enabled aftermarket receivers, such as Alpine, Kenwood and Pioneer. The U2W Plus dongle will make your wired CarPlay wireless (via Bluetooth and Wifi), allowing for a complete wireless experience. Once the U2W Plus Carplay adapter is installed and paired with a compatible iPhone, The device will autoconnect when the vehicle started.

The Carlinkit 2.0 Wireless Apple CarPlay Adapter is fully plug and play. The Carlinkit Dongle has a USB-C Female port, but with most CarPlay enabled vehicles (and aftermarket installs), it features a female USB-A port, and the Carlinkit Dongle will attach to this port via USB-A on the opposite end of the cable and allow the Carlinkit to connect to your “Apple CarPlay” USB socket. 

By utilising the wireless features of this kit, compatible phones can be wirelessly charged using in-car or third party wireless charging pads. 

The Carlinkit 2.0 can be tucked away in the centre console or glove box, so no more messy and trailing cables.

Important Notes & Pre-requisits:

• If your car does not have CarPlay, this dongle may not be suitable for your vehicle. At the same time, your vehicle must have a female USB-A port (not a USB port converted from a cigarette lighter). If your car supports wired CarPlay and with a standard USB port, then you can use it to upgrade your vehicle to wireless CarPlay. 
• Only for iPhone with iOS 9+ system and vehicles come with wired CarPlay.
• This item is NOT suitable for Android phones and Aftermarket Android car stereo.
• The kit utilises the Wi-Fi capabilities of the phone being used and Bluetooth connectivity. Some data lag may be experienced due to the restrictive data bandwidth posed by older phone hardware passing data from the mobile phone to the wireless dongle.
