The Alpine KIT-HALO-TRA7S is a complete installation solution for seamlessly integrating a 1DIN Alpine Halo system with a 9-inch or 11-inch display (INE-F904D, INE-F904DC, iLX-F905D, iLX-F115D) into your Ford Transit Custom (model year 2018 ).
- The Alpine installation kit KIT-HALO-TRA7S lets you perfectly integrate a 1DIN Alpine Halo system with 9-inch or 11-inch screen (INE-F904D, INE-F904DC, iLX-F115D, iLX-F905D) into a Ford Transit Custom (model year 2018 ->). The kit also enables ±10° horizontal monitor swivel of your Alpine unit.
- The KIT-HALO-TRA7S includes a CAN to UART interface featuring support of the steering wheel remote control buttons (latest data protocol including SIRI and OK Google support). It also includes a plug-and-play wiring harness to easily connect your Alpine unit to the Ford vehicle, a camera cable adapter (Alpine direct – RCA), an antenna adapter and a USB adapter. The wiring harness allows for easy access to ignition, speed signal and reversing signal from the CAN bus.
- You can even retain the vehicle settings function in the Alpine head unit and includes the convenient “Preflight-Check” function for motorhome drivers.
Note:
- The KIT-HALO-TRA7S is only compatible with vehicles featuring original Ford 1DIN radio (model T15114A) or radio preparation. For Vehicle featuring the original Ford navigation system the original Ford 1-DIN Trim Panel is needed. Please ask your dealer.
- Vehicles with original radio and e-call system: the e-call system remains functional, but in some cases an error message may be displayed (vehicles with radio preparation will not encounter this problem).
KIT-HALO-TRA7S with Swivel Design: Made for Ford Transit Custom
All required components are included to ensure a smooth Alpine Halo installation. The kit ties-in perfectly to the Ford Transit Custom’s dashboard and electronics. The swivel function enables you to turn the monitor of your Alpine Halo towards the driver or co-driver - this simplifies destination input and improves display visibility even in direct sunlight.
Pre-Flight Check
Most damages to motorhomes occur, because the vehicle was not fully prepared for the road. Alpine’s on-screen Pre-Flight Check can be fully customised to your vehicle and reminds you before you start driving, to ensure that the gas is shut off, all tables and doors are secured, satellite antennas are retracted, etc.
Steering Wheel Telephone Controls
Unlike other manufacturers, the Alpine system is fully compatible with the Ford Transit Custom’s steering wheel control buttons, including telephone accept & decline buttons including SIRI and OK Google support.

The KIT-HALO-TRA7S comes with all required installation accessories, such as an antenna adapter, a camera adapter (Alpine Direct to RCA) and an adapter that connects the original USB port in the dashboard with your Alpine system.
