Ford Boot Handle Camera
Retro fit reversing camera solution
Color rear view camera for Ford - Mondeo / Fiesta / Focus / C-Max / S-Max. SONY 1/3” colour CCD camera lens for best reproduction quality. Replaces the original Boot handle for easy installation.
This reversing camera is specially designed for Ford vehicles. The camera includes a video extension RCA cable kit which allows easy plug and play installation. Just remove the existing boot handle and replace it with the supplied boot handle camera. The camera is water proof and shock tested to IP68 certification level. All the oe cameras are Sony CCD lenses and chipsets, with grid lines and 105 degree angle lens.
Note: This camera is intended for use in retrofit reversing camera solutions and will not replace the existing factory fitted Ford Oem camera.

Displaying the Reverse Camera Image:
You can either connect the camera to the vehicle's own radio through an optional interface module which will display the rear view image on the radio screen. The interface will be specific to your car model/radio and can be purchased as an optional extra. Please contact us to check compatibility and availability.
You may alternatively choose our universal mirror or Dash mounted monitor options. The mirror or Dash monitor option is recommended if an interface module is not supported on your vehicle. The mirror monitor & Dash mounted monitor solutions are budget options and can be DIY fitted, whereas the retrofit interface will usually need to be fitted by a qualified auto technician.
Factory fitted In-car Infotainment systems and their wiring can be complex, so we always recommend that you have your installation carried out by a qualified installer. If you wish, Car Communications can arrange for your Reversing Camera Kit to be installed at an address of your choice anywhere in the UK.
