JVC KW-M593BT Short Body car stereo Digital Media Receiver comes with Bluetooth technology for hands-free calling and wireless music streaming. Featuring Android screen mirroring via USB apps such as Waze Navigation and Google Maps. Operate your favourite Apple and Android applications with the built in Android Auto & Apple CarPlay feature, which can display and control your apps directly via the 6.8" touch screen. An optional rear view camera can be connected for reverse parking. This unit also includes iPhone/iPod music playback. This unit also includes iPhone/iPod music playback. Please note this is a Mechless system, i.e. there is no CD mechanism included in this model. However, this reduces the depth of the product to 75mm which will fit into vehicles having less dashboard audio space than traditional products. The JVC KW-M593BT is a true in car multimedia system. Play your stored media, both audio and video, from USB storage devices (See file compatibility below) or stream directly from your smartphone via Bluetooth or USB cable.

Apple CarPlay – Connect via USB
Apple CarPlay is a safer and more fun way to use your iPhone in the car via USB connection. Simply talk to Siri or touch the receiver’s display to get directions from Apple Maps, make phone calls, listen to voicemail, send and receive texts, and listen to music from Apple Music or your favorite 3rd party streaming services like Spotify, all in a way that allows you to stay focused on the road. With the latest iOS version (iOS 12.0 and higher), 3rd party navigation apps like Google Maps™ and Waze™ are also supported.

To complete the installation of an aftermarket headunit (eg. Kenwood, Parrot ASTEROID, Alpine, Pioneer, Sony, JVC etc.) you will usually require additional fitting accessories. You can substitute the ISO stereo adapter lead for a steering wheel adapter, if one is available for your vehicle.
