Dewarping Video Technology

Dewarping technology allows the F790’s front camera to deliver a close-to-real picture of the vehicle’s front view with minimal distortion. The F790 can analyse incoming video frames and tune the video to show an accurate representation of the road without distortions.

Smart Parking Mode

When a high temperature occurs, it switches to Low power mode, and when it enters a stable Temperature, it actively changes to the existing Recording mode.

Time Lapse
Catch any potential bumps, scrapes and other incidents by recording footage from your vehicle when you are not nearby.  Time Lapse Parking mode records footage at 2fps to reduce the size of the video file, enabling the dash cam to continuously record long periods of parking surveillance without increasing power consumption. This function allows the U3000 dash cam to record longer than other dash cams whilst in parking mode.

Motion Detection
Monitor and capture any motion around the vehicle for potential vandalism attempts. Monitor any impact to the vehicle while it is parked to catch any hit-and-run driver in the act while you are away. Motion Detection Parking mode saves a 20-sec video clip after a motion or impact has been detected (10s before and 10s after the event). 

Enjoy the best connectivity in any environment with the U3000’s dual-band WiFi. Your iOS or Android smartphone can be connected to either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz bandwidth for faster file transfers.

2.4GHz has a longer range and can be captured from a farther distance The longer range network also captures other devices thus preferred in undisrupted environments. 
5GHz has a shorter range and can offer better performance with a higher bandwidth. The shorter range network avoids interferences thus preferred for a less congestive experience within shorter distances.

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)

Drowsy or distracted driving greatly increases the chance of an accident on the road. The Lane Departure Warning System will alert the driver when the vehicle goes off lane in a speed over 50 km/h.

High Speed / Urban Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS/ uFCWS)

Accidents can be avoided by maintaining a safe following distance. Road Safety Warning System in the U3000 calculates the real-time distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you, while driving above 30 km/h in expressways or under 30 km/h in a busy city, and issues a 3-level early warning to the driver depending on the danger of collision.

Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW)

When your car is stopped at an intersection or in traffic, the intelligent guidance system informs you that the vehicle in front has started to move, preventing a delayed response just in case you stop looking ahead.

Rear Collision Warning System (RCWS)

The vehicle enters the rear for more than 50 km, it will automatically alert the user and record.

Continuous Recording Mode

This mode is activated automatically when you start the engine. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism.

Incident Recording Mode

The Active Impact Monitoring System will automatically store the video data ten seconds prior to and after a collision registered by the 3-axis G-Sensor.

Manual Recording Mode

Similar to a video camera, you can use the Manual Recording Mode to capture events that occur in front of your vehicle whether or not it is in motion.

Fail Safe Recording Mode

In the event that the power gets disconnected after an accident, the fail-safe recording uses the Super Capacitor for backup power to ensure safe storage of any recording in progress.

GPS Mapping 

The GPS data in the U3000 can precisely pinpoint the vehicle’s location and routes with its driving speed on the map. The GPS helps you accurately assess the status of the accident by providing you with the vehicle speed, the direction of the collision and the severity of impact. The dash cam not only records driving footage but can also be used to track and recall past driving routes whether it be work or holiday routes.

PC MAC Viewer

The intuitive and simple-to-use interface of Thinkware Dash Cam allows you an easy and convenient viewing of your recorded videos. Whether you’re the parent of a first-time driver or a fleet manager, Thinkware CONNECTED gives you peace of mind with features like Remote Live View, Strong Impact Notifications, Vehicle Status & Driving History, and Emergency Messages

A serious impact stronger than 3g will trigger the Thinkware CONNECTED to show a notification on the app and send an emergency message to your registered contacts. The notification and message will contain crucial information like where the accident took place and a link to a 20-second video clip of the accident (10 seconds before and after the impact). This clip is saved on the server automatically and you can access it later as well. This feature is helpful in case of a potential major incident so your loved ones or fleet manager can take swift action.

*No new videos can be recorded while saving the 20 seconds of the first impact file.

Thinkware Connected's Got Your Back
If a strong impact is detected, the dash cam will send a notification and a text message to your registered contacts automatically. The text message includes a link showing the location of the incident as well as a 20-sec video recording (10 sec before and after the incident).

If an impact is detected while the car is parked, the app will receive a notification automatically. A 20-second video of the incident (10 seconds before and after the incident) is also saved on the Thinkware CONNECTED server if the user gives consent, and can be checked later from the app.

Request For Help
In an emergency situation, if you are unable to notify your friends or colleagues yourself about what is going on, pressing the REC button on the dash cam for more than 3 secs will send an Emergency Message to your registered contacts, informing them about the situation. A 10-sec video clip (5 seconds before and after the incident) will also be uploaded to the server and can be viewed at a later time.
