Volkswagen Touareg Double DIN car stereo fitting kit (Steering Controls)

Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain use of the factory steering wheel audio controls in Volkswagen Touareg I (2003-2009) vehicles with factory Delta/ RNS2 radios.

Fakra to DIN aerial adapter cable with 12v phantom power (21-123)

This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.

VW Touareg steering control interface (39-VW-03)

CANbus steering wheel audio control interface for VW Touareg (2002-2010) cars with quadlock connectors behind the radio.

This interface uses quadlock connections behind the original radio to allow the use of the original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. It also provides CANbus outputs as well as Ignition, speed pulse, reverse, handbrake and illumination signals to the new stereo. This interface will also include PHONE functions on some compatible radio's. Seek and Source functions will only work when the car is in AUDIO menu

VW Touareg Double DIN fitting kit (50-716)

Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version. This fascia is designed to replace the wider rectangular OEM radios.

Double DIN metal cage kit (51-012)

This kit is designed to replace the metal cage kit that is usually supplied with your new aftermarket double din head-unit or navigation system. It is used along with fascia's that have 103mm high hole sizes. This cage kit comes complete with fixings to attach to the new car radio body.
