Nissan Elgrand (2002-2010) E51 Double DIN Car Stereo Upgrade Fitting Kit (Series 3 with CARWINGS)

Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain the use of the steering wheel audio controls in Nissan Elgrand E51 vehicles (WITH CARWINGS).

NOTE: RECOMMEND THIS KIT IS INSTALLED PROFESSIONALLY.

Nissan Elgrand E51 CARWINGS Side Camera Switch (20-221)

Connects to the wiring for the original CARWINGS wiring and allows the user to swap between the original reverse and side cameras on the top screen. Requires hardwiring and a 97mm diameter mounting hole in a suitable place.

Antenna Adapters (21-114 and 21-118)

These cables adapt from the two pin Nissan antenna connector in the car to a standard aftermarket male DIN connector, this is used when fitting a new aftermarket stereo. A choice of two options is provided as the Carwings radio has been seen with both types. Only one will be required.

29-series Steering Control Interface with Top Screen Retention (29-745)

Steering wheel control interface and adapter cable for Nissan Elgrand cars with CARWINGS and a 20 pin connector at the back of the radio. The interface allows includes power and speaker connections for the new radio and a breakout cable to retain the original head unit (hidden within the dashboard) to retain use of the top screen. The interface and radio adapter cable is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio.

29-Series Universal Patch Lead (29-025)

Universal patch lead to be used with In Car Tec 29- series steering wheel control interfaces. This cable plugs into the ICT control box and connects to the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the new head-unit. This item has loose wires and leads so it can be configured to suit the brand of radio being fitted.

Double DIN Fascia Adapter (50-669)

Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version. The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.

PLEASE NOTE:

This fitting kit is suitable for Nissan Elgrand E51 (Series 3) models with CARWINGS. These have a CARWINGS control panel above the CD slot on the radio panel (See below)

Use the metal brackets from the original radio and fit to the new aftermarket radio

The 50-669 fascia panel includes apertures for the climate controls that are not needed on cars with CARWINGS. On these cars, a blanking plate should be fabricated and attached to the fascia panel. This is not supplied, but we do offer 50-060 ABS plastic sheet which can be used to make a blanking panel.

WE RECOMMEND PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION. The kit requires a blanking plate to be made for the climate control cut outs in the fascia panel, the original head unit needs to be taken apart and hidden in the dashboard and a switch for the cameras will need to be hardwired. This is not recommended for DIY
