This retrofit rear view camera kit solution is compatible with Ford Transit vans fitted with the Sync 3 system.  The system can be identified by the "Five or Six icons" at the base of the touch screen (See image below).  

This is an integrated high-quality retrofit rear view camera kit solution. Designed to work seamlessly with your factory fitted infotainment system. A discreet rear view camera is fitted to provide guidelines and with its high quality lens the resulting image on the infotainment screen is crisp and clear, even in low light conditions.

This kit maintains all of the factory options as standard. A Camera activator is supplied with this kit. NOTE: once used on a vehicle the activator will not work with other vehicles. It is important to keep this activator safe as it can be used again only on the same vehicle if needed.  This Kit is available with a number of different camera options, please see options below and these are selctable from the Recommended Add-Ons section above

Bolt-On Camera

The high quality reversing camera unit is drilled in just above the number plate, which provides a discrete look and blends in with the surrounding paneling.  The camera will provide a clear and sharp picture, even in low light and damp conditions.

Brake Light Camera

This replaces the original Brake Light with camera built in.  This reversing camera is specially designed for Ford Transit vehicles. The camera is includes a video extension RCA cable kit which allows easy plug and play installation. Just remove the existing brake light and replace it with the brake light reversing camera which is also equipped with a IR lamp for enhanced image quality in low light conditions.The camera is also water proof.

Number Plate Surround Camera

The camera is held within a number plate surround.  The number plated will need to be removed, the surround frame will need to be attached to the vehicle and the vehicle's number plate will then need to be attached to the number plate surround.  The kit is supplied with all the neccessary cabelling for an easy install.
